Symptoms of Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Is a Vitamin Deficiency Causing Your Depression?
8 Easy Ways to Beat the Afternoon Slump and Power Through Your Day!
  1. Dragon fruit is rich in vitamins and minerals. It is relatively low in calories but contains a good amount of dietary fiber. One cup of dragon-fruit contains approximately 136 calories, 3 grams of protein, zero fat, 7 grams of fiber, 8% of the daily value (DV) of iron, 18% DV of magnesium, 9% DV of vitamin C, and 4% DV of vitamin E
  2. This fruit is packed with antioxidants. It contains antioxidants like flavonoids, phenolic acid, and betacyanins. These natural substances protect your cells from damage caused by free radicals—molecules that can lead to diseases like cancer and premature aging.
  3. Dragon fruit lowers the risk of diabetes. Being rich in fiber, it helps regulate blood sugar levels. Regular consumption of this fruit can help maintain blood sugar balance.
  4. It reduces the risk of cancer. Dragon fruit has anti-cancer properties and is particularly effective in reducing the risk of colon cancer. Additionally, being rich in vitamin C, it boosts the body’s immune system, helping reduce the risk of chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s.
  5. Dragon fruit is beneficial for heart health. Its tiny black seeds are rich in omega-3 and omega-9 fatty acids, which are excellent for the heart and help reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It also helps in maintaining healthy blood pressure and body weight.
  6. Due to unhealthy lifestyles, stress, pollution, and poor diet, premature aging has become common. Rich in vitamin C, dragon fruit helps make the skin glow. Drinking its juice once a day can help maintain skin radiance. It is also very beneficial for hair.
  7. Dragon fruit is good for bones. With about 18% magnesium content, it strengthens bones and supports overall bone health. This helps reduce joint pain, fractures, or the risk of broken bones.
  8. It is also good for the eyes. Containing beta-carotene, dragon fruit helps prevent eye problems such as cataracts and macular degeneration.
