How it works
Temazepam is a sedative and hypnotic benzodiazepine. It potentiates the action of Gaba, which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, resulting in increased neural inhibition and CNS depression, especially in limbic system and reticular formation. It is available as 7.5mg, 15mg, and 30mg capsules.

Temazepam may cause drowsiness, so should be administered with caution when driving or operating machinery. Overdose may lead to motor control, impairment, muscular weakness, hypotension, confusion, lethargy, respiratory depression and coma. Precautions
Temazepam shouldn’t be administered to patients with severe respiratory insufficiency or severe hepatic impairment, and also should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Temazepam may be habit forming, so discuss use with your physician. Take temazepam with food if gastrointestinal upset occurs.
